Vintage British & Commonwealth Water Pitcher

This vintage water pitcher is an eye-catching piece of European hotel silver - made for the British & Commonwealth Shipping Company and used aboard its ocean liners in the mid-1900's.  We love its classic design with a ball finial-topped lid and handsome lettered badge. Perfect for entertaining and when not in use, we'd keep out on a bar set-up or open shelving fin a kitchen for its visual appeal. 

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
